The ride into Palma was shorter and easier that we thought, and only took about an hour so we could have accomplished it yesterday. It was a fresh cloudy start to the day, which began with a ride along the coast to Esporles on a pleasant quiet road and then an easy run into the city though we had some difficulty in locating our airbnb apartment.
The owner greeted us with a hug and we left our bikes at her nearby house since the apartment was up some steep steps. The apartment was ideally situated in the city centre and well appointed. We were very surprised to spot a vegan restaurant round the corner, and we booked a table for Saturday evening. We spent the afternoon sightseeing and cooked dinner in the evening.
