Mild but cloudy today with occasional very light rain and a few short sunny spells in the afternoon. We walked to the end of Loch Ba in the morning, an easy track, returning for lunch at the cottage. I contacted Oban Cycles to ask if there was any chance they could look replace my cable if I call in on Saturday afternoon, no phone signal here so it had to be by email.
We spent the afternoon cycling back part way on the road along Loch Na Keal which had brought us here on Saturday, so we could enjoy the views in better weather. My rear brake started playing up, I’d had to tighten the cable before we left home, since when it’s been working well. I tightened it again when we got back to the cottage but it made no difference, we’ll have another look in the morning when we’re not tired and the light is hopefully better.
