A beautiful small city and convenient for an early Eurostar home. We booked a triple room at the Ibis, next to the railway station, cheap and convenient for dropping off our luggage on arrival and for Tuesday’s early start. There was very little motor traffic in the city, almost everyone either walking or cycling, cargo bikes and bikes fitted with carriers for small children. The result was a calm, quiet environment, clean air and healthy looking citizens.
We enjoyed a relaxing last day in the city, with a walk out to Park Abbey and a taste of the local beer in the mill brasserie.
