The day was dry but cold and mainly cloudy which was an improvement on the weather forecast which was for rain. We rode out of the city in search of a national park but soon got fed up of the traffic and when we encountered road works and poor signage we turned back to the coast for a ride along the cycle path, passing another decaying jetty and its huge population of imperial cormorants. We called in on the same café for espresso and more queque de zanahoria y naranja (carrot and orange cake).
We booked flights to Puerto Montt for Saturday with Sky Airlines so tomorrow would be our last day in the deep south.
