The high Tatras from Zdiar
The only shop was tiny and well stocked but with little choice in fruit and veg, so it was a struggle to find food for the day and for tomorrow’s breakfast. We spent the morning washing clothes, admin jobs and replacing my front brake blocks, new when we set off but already worn down.
Fantastic views of the mountains from this historic village, cloud occasionally briefly parting to treat us to a view of the summits. We went for a short walk in the afternoon.
