We strolled up to the An Tob arts centre café and wrote our postcards, then walked along the coast to the lighthouse. In the afternoon we walked in Aros Park, calling in to the brewery tap for a lovely pint of Tobermory Dark Ale on the way back. There are some strange shops in this small town, the main settlement on the island. One sold books, stationery, computer sundries and… fishing tackle, strange bedfellows. The ironmonger offered bike accessories and guitar strings. The sun finally appeared in the evening, illuminating the colourful houses along the shore and I considered walking round for a better photo, but since this was our lazy day I didn’t.
