A wet day, at times so wet that we had to dash into shops, cafes, anything to avoid the heavy downpours. The rain scuppered our idea of a boat trip to Caldy Island but there was sufficient to entertain us for the day as we made our way around town guided by our Tenby Historical Trail leaflet. We visited the National Trust’s Tudor Merchants House and lunched in a cafe as it was too wet to picnic. It was a welcome rest after a full week of cycling and we were glad we weren’t out riding, it would have been no fun today.
