The beer train arrives at the railway restaurant
We took a tram part way and walked the rest, meeting Sarah at the railway restaurant for an early lunch before it became too busy. A waitress took our order and the food and drink was despatched to our table on a model train. For beer, Sarah and I chose the tasting selection of four different beers.
Sarah went off to meet the friends she was staying with while we toured the city. It was much busier than Berlin and we walked up to the castle area, also very popular but more spacious. The senate gardens were open, as were the castle gardens but it was too late in the afternoon to make a castle visit worthwhile. We called in to an Asian vegan restaurant then took a tram back to the hotel.
