Paris

The Seine

After a late leisurely breakfast we walked to the Eiffel Tower, now disfigured by screens, turnstiles and fencing, it became too popular. Then we walked to Pat’s apartment and visited the nearby Lebanese restaurant for lunch. On returning to her flat, we chatted and looked over old photographs, a pleasant relaxing day.

We received an email from DFDS advising us to arrive at the port at least 120 minutes before the sailing rather than 60 on Thursday, which seems excessive being midweek and outside school holidays.
