It was clear and cold when we left the hostel for a morning ride along the coast. We’d been invited by friends Toby and Kerry, who moved from North Wales to Oban, to a trip in their boat followed by dinner. They took us round Kerrera, there was little wind so much of the trip was powered by motor rather than sail, but it was a nice relaxing end to our holiday. They have a lovely house with large terraced garden high above the town with wonderful views of the harbour activity. Dinner was in the garden as we caught up on each others news.
