Cenarth to Fishguard

Another warm sunny start with clouds soon forming but still with sunny intervals. It was a lovely quiet ride towards Cardigan,  we stopped a short way before the town to visit the Wildlife Trust Centre, where we exceeded our normal pigginess level by having two drinks and two cakes each at the very nice cafe. It became hot and humid for a while around the lovely seaside village of Newport where we stopped for lunch. I’d have liked to have spent longer here, perhaps even staying the night, but the others were anxious to press on.

It was a great ride onward down shady lanes then out onto the main road into Fishguard where we shopped for food. We camped a mile out of town, cooked and ate. In the evening we cycled down for a quick look at the old town and its harbour.
